About Us

CV Home Health began in 1990 as a department of Bibb Medical Center in Centreville, Alabama.  Although we originally served patients in the Bibb and Perry county areas, we became well recognized for the outstanding quality of care we provided to our patients.  As a result, CV Home Health became independent of Bibb Medical Center, became one of the first freestanding home health care agencies in Alabama to achieve Joint Commission accreditation, and expanded into Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.  Now, we serve individuals and families in seven counties - an area spanning nearly 6,000 square miles.  Our staff are available to meet your needs in Bibb, Chilton, Hale, Jefferson, Perry, Shelby, and Tuscaloosa counties.

We have been continuously accredited by the Joint Commission since 2014 and have been designated as a ‘Gold Seal’ facility.  You may access our most recent quality report here.

We participate in the federal Medicare program and have been given 5 out of 5 stars in patient satisfaction.  In addition to traditional Medicare, our preferred insurance partners include United Healthcare, Viva, Humana, Blue Cross of Alabama, Blue Advantage, and Healthspring.
